MY BIG DECISION…
I have been doing some soul searching lately to discover why I love photography and what I do.
As Many of my clients know since they have been with me since the first few days of their children’s life, how much I love what I get to do… I love that I get to create art, celebrate the addition of a true miracle to families, and as the year goes by I make connections that turn into friendships, and I get to watch these little people grow, I love sharing in the joy of the new sitters, the crawlers, the first steps ( and many have happened in my studio)
I Love being part of my clients lives.
I love specializing in Maternity Newborn & Baby, I love what I do,
but I hate that once my clients reach 18 months I don’t get to see them anymore
I have spent countless hours trying to figure out what to do, I did a few sessions with older clients this fall to try out how I liked doing outdoor family sessions,
but I wasn’t ready to share it with the world. It made me sad I couldn’t show off these beautiful families, because it wasn’t part of my genre.
I came to the conclusion recently that Milk & Honey is in fact MY Business, so I get to choose.
So My Big decision is that I Have decided to offer family sessions.
I will be offering outdoor family sessions for familys with children of ALL ages ( NO baby required !!) thru April – end of October, I will have limited availability, but I at least wanted to give my clients the option of booking an annual session with me,
and to welcome some new families too!
I know with this announcement I will get back lash, I have said no, over the years because I wasn’t ready, or wasn’t sure that was the direction I wanted to go in,
But I decided Milk & Honey is about love, comfort & connections, and that is what I want to show to the world.
I will still continue to specialize in Maternity, Newborn & Baby, but will be adding family as a new genre too.
I anticipate these sessions will fill up quickly, so encourage booking early as I will only do a limited number each month.
Much love & warm wishes,
